We collect personal and technical information strictly necessary to provide delivery and courier management services:
- Account Information: Name, phone number, encrypted password, and registered shop or citizen profile details.
- Location Information: Precise and approximate location data (GPS coordinates) to verify store pickup locations, optimize courier delivery routes, and provide accurate parcel tracking.
- Shipment & Order Details: Recipient names, delivery addresses, package descriptions, delivery fees, and order status.
- Technical & Device Data: Device model, operating system version, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for real-time order delivery notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for specific, legitimate operational purposes:
- Facilitating parcel pickup, transportation, and accurate home/shop delivery.
- Authenticating users, securing accounts, and preventing unauthorized access.
- Sending real-time push notifications regarding parcel status updates and courier dispatch.
- Generating financial delivery statements, accounting reports, and tax compliance invoices.
- Providing technical and customer support.
3. Data Security & Encryption
We enforce rigorous industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards:
- Encryption in Transit: All communications between your mobile device, browser, and our servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS / HTTPS).
- Password Security: Passwords are cryptographically hashed using secure, non-reversible algorithms (bcrypt).
- Access Control: Access to customer and shipping data is restricted strictly to authorized operational staff.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We never sell or rent your personal data to advertisers or third-party marketing brokers. Data is shared strictly as follows:
- Couriers and Drivers: Relevant delivery recipient name, phone, and destination address are shared solely to fulfill package delivery.
- Legal Compliance: If mandated by law enforcement or judicial authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
5. User Rights, Account & Data Deletion
You have full rights over your personal data. You can access, review, modify, or permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: You can request account deletion directly via the MiraPost mobile application under Settings > My Account > Delete Account.
- Web Deletion: You can submit an online deletion request without needing the app installed by visiting our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Page.
- Data Retention: Following account deletion, personal profile and contact data are permanently removed. Completed shipment invoice records are retained for auditing and tax compliance for up to 12 months as legally required.
